Fruition Seeds: (USA) Seed company offering free learning opportunities and inspiration about growing food. Suitable to Innisfil’s planting zone 5a.
The Gardening Girl: (Mono, ON) Free and easy to use calculator to determine when to start seeds indoors and directly in your gardens based on first and last frost dates in your specific planting zone. Other excellent seed and garden-related resources on her website and social media platforms.

North American Native Plant Society: (USA/Canada) NANPS is a volunteer-operated registered charitable organization concerned with preserving native plant habitat in wild areas and restoring indigenous flora to developed areas. Their Seedex is a benefit of membership. There are usually some seeds remaining after their member requests have been fulfilled, and they bring these seeds to events where they have an information table, such as Seedy Saturday. Because they cannot meet in person this year, they have now opened up their Seedex to the general public: Seedex.
