Join us for an evening of learning and inspiration! Author and native plant expert Lorraine Johnson guides us through the late summer native garden at the Lakeshore branch while highlighting how the plants support native pollinators, are most suitable for our environment and bring beauty and diversity to the urban landscape.

Lorraine has been writing about native gardening for three decades and is the author of more than 10 books on diverse subjects including native plant gardening, urban agriculture and environmental issues.
